Commend Österreich GmbH General Terms and Conditions for Training Courses
1. Registration
Registrations will be processed in the order in which they are received. Registrations are binding. Commend Österreich GmbH will accept registrations, re-bookings and cancellations submitted in writing (sent by post, fax or e-mail) or in person.
Minimum and maximum numbers of participants apply to the trainings offered. After receiving the registration, we will send a reservation confirmation for the respective course - the registration is binding. As soon as the minimum number of participants has been reached - latest after the closing date for registration - we will inform the participants about the training. If the event can not take place, we will send an event cancellation. We therefore recommend that you do not make any paid travel arrangements before the course is confirmed.
2. Scope of Offer
The offer extends to the services listed in the programme. Any additional expenses will be charged separately.
3. Attendance Fee
The attendance fee is to be paid in advance (before the start of the training course).
4. Cancellation
Cancellations will only be accepted in writing (sent by post, fax or e-mail). In case a registered participant is unable to attend the scheduled training course, the following cancellation conditions apply:
- Cancellation up to 30 calendar days before the course's start date (as per receipt stamp): free of charge
- Cancellation 30 calendar days before the course's start date (as per receipt stamp): 50 % of the attendance fee will be charged
- Cancellation on or after the course's start date (as per receipt stamp): the full attendance fee will be charged
However, if another participant can be named who matches the target group for the course and is willing to pay the attendance fee, the originally registered participant will incur no charges. Cancellations in the event of a participant’s unforeseen illness require the submission of a doctor’s certificate.
5. Changes of the Training Programme Schedule / Cancellations
Since our training courses are planned a long time in advance, changes to the training schedule for organisational reasons cannot be ruled out. Whether a course can be held depends on reaching the required minimum number of registrants. Commend Österreich GmbH therefore reserves the right to change course agendas or dates, assign different course trainers or cancel scheduled courses. Each registrant will be notified in advance of any organisational changes. In case a course is cancelled due to the illness of a trainer or another unforeseen event, this excludes any entitlement to the course being held. No claim for damages or other claims against Commend Österreich GmbH may be derived from such an event. This also applies to Commend’s re-scheduling of course dates at short notice. If a course is cancelled by Commend Österreich GmbH, any pre-paid attendance fees for the course in question will be refunded. Commend Österreich GmbH will not accept any liability for printing or spelling errors in its publications or on its Internet pages.
6. Confirmation of Attendance
Upon completion of the course, every participant will receive a written confirmation or certificate documenting their attendance.
7. Course Material, Software
In some courses, participants will be provided with written course material or software, which will be handed out prior to or during the course; this is included in the attendance fee, unless stated otherwise. The course material and software provided by Commend Österreich GmbH may only be copied and transferred for company internal training purposes and must not be sold or made available to the public.
8. Training Courses at Client’s Site
In case a course is to be held at a client’s site, the client agrees to provide the required infrastructure and equipment; otherwise, additional costs may be incurred.
9. Rescheduling
Clients who reschedule a training course will be charged for any costs resulting from the rescheduling.
10. Liability
Commend Österreich GmbH will not accept any liability for the personal belongings of course participants, including the course material provided. Any claims against Commend Österreich GmbH resulting from the application of knowledge acquired from Commend Österreich GmbH shall be excluded.
11. Data Protection
The protection of your privacy is important to us. Therefore, we treat your personal information confidentially and in accordance with the law. Further information on the processing of your data can be found in the Privacy Policy.
Notice on Equal Treatment
For easy readability, terms and designations are usually formulated in a gender-neutral manner. All training courses are, of course, open to registrants of both genders.
