Companies and public institutions often invest considerable sums in Public Address systems and corresponding cable connections. Justified as this may be at the time, technology keeps progressing at a dizzying speed. As a result, there is a steadily growing demand for system extensions and new functions. The upgraded system provides the full range of Commend functions. If required, multiple systems can be networked together using the IP Amplifiers. It is also possible to integrate IP Loudspeakers, taking full advantage of all features and functions from the Commend world. This way, the solutions can keep up with progress instead of running after it.
One actual Commend project called for a number of schools and kindergartens to be networked for centralised announcements and information broadcasts. Existing loudspeakers were reused and complemented by IP horn loudspeakers in the outdoor areas. The result is a powerful system that provides enhanced security and improved distribution of information.

Public Addres and telephone: a perfect couple
In most cases there is a SIP-PBX telephone system already in place. Here the existing telephones can replace the terminals of the installed Public Address system. For projects requiring a high standard in terms of functionality and interaction, we recommend Commend Intercom stations, which have been developed specifically for these purposes. Of course, mixed use of both kinds of terminal is possible as well, allowing all employees to make announcements over their office telephones.
